Posted in Conversation Piece on March 22, 2012 by mymorningjoe

MARLEE… Here we have a breath of fresh air rapper/producer/writer hailing from Bklyn,NY. In his late teenage years he and his 2 brothers formed a writing team, which kicked off his semi-career in the music industry. Their clientele list would consist of names such as Mc Lyte, Nick Cannon, Will Smith, La La Vasquez, Full Force, and more. After years of being part of a group, Marlee decided to part ways with his brothers. He has yet to get the attention of the majors as a soloist but as of recent starting making noise locally in West Virginia with his club record LAID OFF “shots” which is produced by Him & His partner Sonny Brix A.K.A. “THE BANGERZ”. Because of his journey and position over the years and having worked with many established artists, he can be visualized as having one foot in the industry and one foot out. His versatility as an artist & producer also gives him breathing room to create hit records such as “FALLIN UP” also produced by his partner in crime, Sonny Brix of The Bang Department. Overall his style of music is B.O.B/K’NAAN meets T.I & DMX. However he isn’t the next nobody, he’s simply the first Him.
